Special Events Chair, Gail Begerow, has booked rooms at Casa Via Mar Inn, Port Hueneme, for the weekend of July 24, 25, 26, 2009. Gail always plans a fun weekend with wonderful prizes & goodies. She has arranged with member, John Sepulveda, who now lives in Ventura, to have a Ventura group join SGTC Saturday afternoon for some fun and challenging tennis. COME JOIN US!
Great amenities are provided at Casa Via Mar and the room rates are great anniversary rates. A swimming pool and spa are available. A ports-of-call village is nearby and there are lots of shopping malls/outlets near & around Port Hueneme for those who do not play tennis. Get your checks in to Gail by July 17 to book your room. After that date, individuals must make their own arrangements. See attachment for more details of Casa Via Mar Inn.

Temple City Tennis Club Tennis Tournament May 4, 2008
Sign up now, before you are too late. The early bird gets the worm. Our annual tournament with Temple City Tennis Club at Live Oaks Park in Temple City is being organized by our own former board tennis coordinator Tommy Chu. We look forward to lots of fun, competition, enjoying different tennis “spins” and seeing different “slices and strokes” from the opponents!

The annual Love Tournament will be held on Feb 10, 2008 at 8 am sharp.
Please bring any additional goodies and refreshments (drinks, fruit, cookies, pastries, etc) for everyone to enjoy. Let Olga or Eddie know what you will bring. For those not officially playing in the Love Tourney, we would love for you to join us for lunch ($3 for lunch only). There will be a couple courts open for free play.
